NCS Unveils AI and Digital Resilience Solutions at Impact Forum

Leading technology services firm NCS has unveiled a comprehensive suite of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital resilience (DR) solutions aimed at aiding organizations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region to leverage AI securely and sustainably. The announcement was made during NCS’ annual Impact forum, which saw over 1,000 leaders and technology practitioners in attendance.
Key Highlights:

1. Launch of AI and DR Solutions:
   • NCS introduced new frameworks, solutions, and accelerators, including the AI-Digital Resilience (AI+DR) Matrix and Polaris DR, designed to enhance AI adoption and digital resilience.
   • The AI+DR Matrix categorizes organizations based on their maturity in AI adoption and digital resilience, helping them strategize their AI journey.
   • Polaris DR assesses organizations’ digital resilience across five key areas: cybersecurity, data governance, infrastructure scalability, application robustness, and operational responsiveness.
2. Industry Business Solutions:
   • NCS announced five Industry Business Solutions embedded with AI Accelerators to enhance customer/citizen experience, workforce productivity, and software engineering.
3. Strategic Partnerships:
   • NCS is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch a Generative AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Public Good, tailored for the APAC public sector.
   • Collaborations with Dell Technologies and Schneider Electric aim to accelerate AI adoption and provide sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
   • A partnership with Income Insurance will extend location-based, hourly travel insurance through the Breeze mobile app.
4. Building AI Talent:
   • NCS is investing in upskilling its 13,000-strong workforce with AI-powered services and solutions, aiming to create a 3,000-strong AI-certified practitioner base.
   • Collaborating with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), NCS plans to support Singapore’s National AI Strategy by developing AI talent.

     Ng Kuo Pin, CEO of NCS, emphasized the importance of balancing AI adoption with digital resilience to thrive in a complex global environment. He highlighted the need for robust cybersecurity, data governance, and technological foundations to support AI’s transformative potential.

     Heng Swee Keat emphasized the importance of harnessing AI to improve lives and protect the planet, advocating for responsible innovation with appropriate safeguards.
