JioCinema Sees Remarkable Growth in IPL 2024 Viewership and User Engagement

JioCinema, the official streaming partner for Tata IPL 2024, witnessed a significant surge in viewership, recording 2,600 crore views during the tournament, marking a 53% increase from the previous year. The platform’s reach extended to 62 crore users, up by 38% compared to 2023. The average user time spent on the platform also increased from 60 minutes to 75 minutes per session. Various features such as Connected TV, 12 language feeds, 4K viewing, multi-cam views, and AR/VR experiences contributed to the heightened engagement levels. Following its success with IPL, JioCinema is now setting its sights on the Paris Olympics, aiming to attract substantial viewership by focusing on events involving Indian athletes, alongside major competitions. The Paris Olympics are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11.
