Bitcoin ETF to Debut on Australia’s Main Stock Market

In a significant development, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) investing directly in Bitcoin is set to list on Australia’s main stock market for the first time. The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has approved the VanEck Bitcoin ETF, which will begin trading on Thursday. Arian Neiron, CEO for VanEck in the Asia-Pacific region, stated that Bitcoin is an emerging asset class that many advisers and investors are eager to access.
