Testsigma Secures $8.2M for AI-Driven Test Automation
Testsigma, an AI-powered, low-code test automation platform, has successfully raised $8.2 million in a funding round led by MassMutual Ventures. This round also saw participation from previous investors including Accel, STRIVE, and BoldCap. Alongside this financial milestone, Testsigma introduced new GenAI capabilities to its platform and launched a novel product tailored for the Salesforce ecosystem, aiming to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of quality engineering teams. This development follows a prior funding round in 2022 where Testsigma secured $4.6 million. The company, founded in 2019 by Rukmangada Kandyala and co-founders, is making significant strides in reducing the need for manual testing by leveraging AI, with predictions indicating that GenAI-based tools could automate up to 70% of software tests by 2028. This advancement is expected to improve software test coverage, usability, and overall code quality.
