Google AI Essentials Course Launches for Pakistani Students to Boost AI Skills and Offer Scholarships

Google has introduced an AI Essentials course for Pakistani students, designed to equip individuals with the latest AI skills, even if they have no prior experience in the field. The initiative includes offering 45,000 scholarships for Google Career Certificates to help boost productivity and provide practical experience with AI tools. Available on Coursera in English, the course focuses on teaching participants how to effectively use AI for generating ideas and improving daily tasks, while also emphasizing the importance of using AI responsibly and recognizing potential biases. Additionally, the Google Career Certificates program prepares learners for entry-level jobs in various sectors, including Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Digital Marketing. This effort is part of a collaboration with the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) to support freelancers in Pakistan in upgrading their skills.
