Summary:
The Gethsemane Women Forum, in collaboration with STEMi Makers of Africa, is launching the Digital Skills Academy for Women to train 40 underserved women in Lagos State with essential digital skills and mentorship. The program, running from mid-April to mid-May at the American Centre in Victoria Island, will cover courses in graphics and video design, data analytics, UI/UX design, software development, digital marketing, soft skills, and business development. The initiative aims to enhance technical proficiency and drive economic development in low-income communities. The project will also provide transportation, feeding, and learning materials for participants. Other partners include the House of Freedom, IBM, TBN, American Corner, Kutztown University, the MAI Foundation, and Nestle.
