PadhAI AI App Scores Over 170 in UPSC Preliminary Exam 2024
In a groundbreaking achievement, the AI-based app PadhAI scored over 170 out of 200 in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024, completing the paper in just seven minutes. This places PadhAI among the top 10 scorers nationally, potentially even securing the top rank.
Developed by a team of IITians, PadhAI demonstrated its capabilities in a public event at The Lalit hotel in Delhi, attended by education sector figures, the UPSC community, and media professionals. The event was live-streamed, allowing real-time viewing.
PadhAI’s score, significantly higher than the general qualifying score of under 100, underscores its potential in revolutionising exam preparation. The AI’s answers were rigorously compared with those of major tech companies’ AI models, using leading coaching institutes’ answer keys.
Karttikeya Mangalam, CEO of PadhAI, highlighted the achievement as the highest score in a decade of UPSC exams, predicting that such AI-driven events will become commonplace.
Available on the Google Play Store, PadhAI offers features like news summaries, smart PYQ search, doubt clarification, interactive answer explanations, and book summaries to enhance UPSC preparation. This success illustrates the growing role of AI in education, with expanding applications expected to enhance learning and performance.
