Wipro Unveils Lab45 AI Platform for Business Efficiency

Wipro has introduced the Lab45 Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform, leveraging Generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning to enhance efficiency and transform business operations. Available to both employees and clients, the platform operates on a Software-as-a-Service model, incorporating advanced Large Language Models and custom AI technologies. It supports the generation of images from text and the ability to index and summarize content, offering no-code and low-code applications for various business functions. The platform’s API-based approach has already facilitated a significant increase in GenAI usage within Wipro’s Topcoder community. Wipro’s CTO emphasizes the platform’s role in driving innovation and productivity, while its use in teaching advanced GenAI applications at Harvard Business School highlights its educational potential. Additionally, Wipro has recently secured a $500 million contract for managed services and introduced an AI-assisted security platform, Wipro Cyber X-Ray, in collaboration with Zscaler. The company has also expanded its retail capabilities through Wipro VisionEDGE+, developed with Cisco, AT&T, and AWS, aiming at revolutionizing retail media networks.
